Classic Boats

Naval surveyor Luca Marziale is pleased to announce that starting from 01/09/2020 the Naval Expert Emiliano Parenti will be part of the staff for wooden boats and in particular for classic boats. He is a great navigator and racer on classic boats and expert in the construction and restoration of wooden boats and boats of historical interest.

His passion for this type of boat, the renovations carried out over a thirty-year career at the Tecnomar shipyard in Fiumicino and the numerous regattas he has participated in have made him one of the greatest experts on wooden  and classic boats. Among the complete restorations of classic and vintage boats that Emiliano has directed, some are boats of international interest such as  Kipawa (1938), Marga (1910), Moana, (1914) Astarte (1907), Orianda (1936 ), Owl (1909) restored at an English shipyard, Puritan a 102-foot American Schooner dating back to 1931. Some of them have been awarded by specialized press, Nocturne (1936) and Capitano Lipari (1936). Emiliano was a teacher for the “Refitting” section of a Master on nautical subjects organized by the Roma Tre University and is an active member of AYH-Association of Yacht Historians for which he has written many articles on the subject of traditional boats.
